NDRRMC: Almost 100,000 families affected by Taal volcanic activity

(Eagle News)–Almost 100,000 families have been affected by Taal volcano’s activity, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said. In its 6 a.m. report on Sunday, Jan. 26, the NDRRMC said  at least 376,327 people or 98,187 families were affected since Taal’s phreatic eruption  on January 12. (Eagle News)–Cavite and Batangas will have cloudy skies and isolated rains due to the volcanic activity in Taal and the northeast monsoon affecting Luzon. DOH sends N95 masks, other items to Taal-affected Calabarzon, M. Manila

(Eagle News)–The Department of Health has sent medical supplies and other items to Metro Manila and Calabarzon, areas affected by the volcanic activity in Taal. In a statement, the DOH said those sent included drugs, medicines such as eye drops and asthma medication, medical supplies including N95 and surgical face masks, collapsible water containers and jerry cans, water purification tablets, and hygiene kits.
