An advisory from the House said the  special meeting set by the Committee on Overseas Workers Affairs to discuss the repatriation of Overseas Filipino Workers in Iraq and other countries and the case of OFW Jeanelyn Villavende is also postponed. (Eagle News)–The Supreme Court has suspended work in all courts in Metro Manila today, Aug. 2. The SC said this was due to inclement weather. Executive judges in other affected areas,m the SC said, may exercise discretion. SC declares suspension of work in all Metro Manila courts starting Monday noon

(Eagle News) — The Supreme Court on Monday, June 11, declared a half-day suspension of work in all courts in the National Capital Region for that day. SC: No work in courts nationwide on Monday, October 16

(Eagle News) — Work in all courts on Monday, October 16, has been suspended. Chief Justice Ma. Lourdes Sereno declared the suspension because of the scheduled transport strike on that day. She made the declaration after Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea also declared a suspension of government work and classes at all levels in all public and private schools in the country.
