(Eagle News)-Work in the House of Representatives is suspended tomorrow, Jan. 13.
An advisory from the House said the special meeting set by the Committee on Overseas Workers Affairs to discuss the repatriation of Overseas Filipino Workers in Iraq and other countries and the case of OFW Jeanelyn Villavende is also postponed.
It will instead be reset to a later date.
The Engineering Department and Security Bureau will maintain a skeletal force, however.
“Let’s pray for the safety of everyone especially those within the danger zones,” the advisory said.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology has hoisted an alert level 4 over Taal, which means an eruption was imminent.
