Cloudy skies, isolated rainshowers forecast in parts of PHL

(Eagle News)–Cloudy skies and isolated rainshowers are expected in parts of the country today. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly  cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms as the easterlies affect the country. PAGASA said flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms are possible. Northern Luzon will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.  

Thunderstorm advisory hoisted over parts of Mindanao

(Eagle News)–A thunderstorm advisory has been hoisted over Mindanao. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said moderate to heavy rainshowers with possible lightning and strong winds  are expected over Misamis Oriental, Lanao del Sur, Zamboanga del Sur, Zamboanga Sibugay and Maguindanao within the next one to two hours.
