(Eagle News) — A 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental on Wednesday, June 3. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 10:31 a.m. It had its epicenter 144 kilometers southeast of Sarangani. The depth of focus was 88 kilometers. An instrumental intensity 1 was felt in Kiamba. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 10:48 a.m. It had its epicenter 41 kilometers southwest of Vigan. An instrumental intensity I  was felt in Vigan City. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the 102 quakes at the volcano, which remains on alert level 2, included 16 low-frequency volcanic earthquakes and 86 volcanic tremor events with durations of one to 22 minutes, and low-level background tremor that has persisted since April 8.
