Bulusan spews 2-km high ash
(Eagle News) — Bulusan volcano in Sorsogon had a “stream-driven explosion” at 11:35 a.m. today (Friday, June 10) which lasted for about five minutes according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs). The explosion produced a 2.0 kilometer high grayish ash plume that drifted towards the northwest. Niyanig ng 5.1 magnitude na lindol ang Surigao del Norte, alas nwebe katorse kagabi, Enero 14. Ayon sa Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS), ang epicenter ng lindol ay nasa layong dalawampu’t siyam na kilometro ng timog-silangan ng bayan ng General Luna Town.
