Thunderstorm advisory raised over parts of Mindanao

(Eagle News)–A thunderstorm advisory has been raised over parts of Mindanao. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said moderate to heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are expected over portions of Bukidnon and Siargao Island. Naga airport sustains heavy damage due to “Rolly”

(Eagle News)–The Naga airport sustained heavy damage as a result of “Rolly,” the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines reported. According to CAAP, seriously damaged were the Passenger Terminal Building, fire station building, administration building, and the vehicular parking area. CAAP said most of the damage was in the form of dismantled ceilings, blown away roofing, and dismantled window panels.
