(Eagle News)–A thunderstorm advisory has been hoisted over several areas in Luzon. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said moderate to heavy rainshowers are expected over Nueva Ecija, Zambales, Bataan, Pampanga, Cavite, Laguna, Bulacan and Batangas. Phivolcs upgrades Eastern Samar quake to magnitude 6.5

  (Eagle News) — The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) upgraded to magnitude 6.5 the quake that hit Eastern Samar earlier Tuesday afternoon, April 23, which it had earlier recorded at magnitude 6.2.
