  (Eagle News) — Tropical Depression Maring is now in the vicinity of Pampanga as it prepares to leave the landmass of Luzon tonight, according to the country’s weather bureau, PAGASA. 6.3 magnitude quake shakes Batangas; quake also felt in Mindoro, Metro Manila

  A magnitude 6.3 quake struck Batangas, about 1:30 pm Friday, August 11, which was also felt in parts of Luzon, including Mindoro and Metro Manila, sending many people out to the streets. The quake’s epicenter was located at 16 kilometers southwest of Nasugbu, Batangas and had a depth of 160 kilometers, according to PHIVOLCS. Tropical storm “Kabayan” reaches Luzon

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said on its Friday, October 2 forecast that tropical depression “Kabayan” has already reached Luzon.
