(Eagle News) — A 4.4-magnitude earthquake struck Ilocos Sur on Friday, May 12. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 10:38 a.m. The epicenter was eight kilometers southeast of Burgos. The depth of focus was one kilometer. 4.2-magnitude earthquake strikes Ilocos Sur early Friday, Aug. 19

(Eagle News) — A 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck Ilocos Sur early Friday, Aug. 19. According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the quake, an aftershock of the 7.0-magnitude Northwestern Luzon earthquake, struck four kilometers northeast of Quirino. The depth of focus was 3 kilometers. The following intensities were reported: Instrumental Intensity: Intensity II- Basista, Pangasinan No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.

(Eagle News)–A 4.8-magnitude earthquake struck Ilocos Sur on Friday, July 29. The earthquake struck at 9:38 p.m., days after a magnitude 7.0 earthquake hit Abra. 4.1-magnitude earthquake strikes off Ilocos Sur

(Eagle News) — A 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck off Ilocos Sur on Monday, May 31. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 10:48 a.m. It had its epicenter 41 kilometers southwest of Vigan. An instrumental intensity I  was felt in Vigan City. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.

(Eagle News)–A 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck Ilocos Sur early Monday, July 13. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 4:13 a.m., had its epicenter 67 kilometers northeast of Candon. Depth of focus was 16 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

(Eagle News)–A 3.1-magnitude earthquake struck Ilocos Sur on Friday, April 19. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit 17 kilometers northwest of Sinait at 6:56 a.m. The depth of focus of the quake was 25 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were expected.

4.9-magnitude quake hits Ilocos Sur

(Eagle News) — A 4.9-magnitude quake struck Ilocos Sur on Thursday. The earthquake struck 43 kilometers northwest of Santa Catalina at 3:06 p.m. Depth of focus was at 25 kilometers. The earthquake was felt at Intensity III in Vigan, and at Intensity V in Sinait, both in Ilocos Sur. An Intensity III was felt in Pasuquin, Ilocos Norte. No aftershocks are expected.
