(Eagle News) — The Department of Foreign Affairs’ consular office in San Nicolas will only attend to applicants with confirmed appointments and with residence within Ilocos Norte until August 31. 3.0-magnitude quake hits Ilocos Norte

(Eagle News)–A 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck Ilocos Norte on Thursday, March 21. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said the quake hit 34 kilometers northeast of Pagudpud at 8:24 a.m. The depth of focus of the earthquake, which was of tectonic origin, was 18 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were expected.  

4.4-magnitude quake jolts Ilocos Norte

(Eagle News)–A 4.4-magnitude quake struck Ilocos Norte on Monday, March 18. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake struck 16 kilometers southeast of Adams at 4:54 a.m. The quake, which was tectonic in origin, had a depth of focus of 18 kilometers. An intensity III was felt in Pasuquin, PHIVOLCS said. No damage nor aftershocks were expected.

5.3-magnitude quake jolts Ilocos Norte

(Eagle News)–A 5.3-magnitude earthquake struck Ilocos Norte on Sunday, March 3. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit northwest of Burgos at 3:46 a.m. The earthquake, which was tectonic in origin, had a depth of focus of 22 kilometers. An Intensity IV was felt in Laoag in Ilocos Norte; and an Intensity III in Badoc, also in Ilocos Norte; Bantay, Magsingal, San Ildefonso, Santo Domingo, Sinait and Vigan in Ilocos Sur. […]
