(Eagle News)–A 4.0-magnitude earthquake struck Zamboanga del Norte on Wednesday, Feb. 26. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 5:38 a.m., had its epicenter 44 kilometers southwest of Siocon. Depth of focus was one kilometer. An instrumental intensity I was recorded in Zamboanga City. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 8:23 a.m., had its epicenter 36 kilometers southeast of Gian. Depth of focus was 14 kilometers.
