3.4-magnitude quake hits Surigao del Sur

(Eagle News)–A 3.4-magnitude earthquake struck Surigao del Sur on Sunday, Feb. 23.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 5:26 a.m., had its epicenter 14 kilometers northeast of Burgos.

Depth of focus was 11 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
