3.7-magnitude quake hits Surigao del Sur

(Eagle News)–A 3.7-magnitude earthquake struck Surigao del Sur on Friday, Feb. 21.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 3:57 p.m., had its epicenter 28 kilometers northeast of Cortes.

It had a depth of focus of 16 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
