7 WellMed employees ordered subjected to preliminary probe (Eagle News)–The Department of Justice has found probable cause for the estafa through falsification charges filed against Bryan Sy, a co-owner of WellMed Dialysis Center accused of claiming PhilHealth benefits of deceased patients. DOJ: Oriental Mindoro prosecutor attacked; sustains five gunshot wounds in head, body

(Eagle News)–The Oriental Mindoro provincial prosecutor was shot  on Monday, June 10, Justice Undersecretary Markk Perete said. Perete said Josephine Caranto-Olivar was attacked as she entered her house. He said all in all, Caranto-Olivar sustained  five gunshot wounds–two in the head and three in the body. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said a 5.7-magnitude quake hit Zambales at 5:11 p.m. An Intensity V was felt in San Felipe, Zambales and in Quezon City, PHIVOLCS said.
