COMELEC expects 6M new voters for Barangay and SK elections

QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) — The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) is expecting six million voters to register for the upcoming barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections on October 31. The application for registration will start on Friday, July 15 and will end by the end of the month. According to Comelec data, 54.363 million Filipinos registered for the May 9 elections.

COMELEC extends deadline of filing of SOCE

QUEZON City, Philippines –  Voting 4-3, the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) has extended the deadline of the filing of the Statement of Contributions and Expenditures (SOCE) of candidates last elections.  The deadline is now on June 30.
