COMELEC reminds voters biometric registration period
With only two-days left remaining until the last day of the registration deadline, the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) is once again reminding almost three million voters with no biometric data to have their biometrics and validate their registration for them to be able to vote in the May 2016 national and local elections. Almost six million voter’s ID cards remain unclaimed
The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) said that almost 6 million voter identification cards remain unclaimed all over the country. With this, COMELEC Chairman Andres Bautista encouraged the public to claim their voter’s ID that is now available at the local COMELEC offices nationwide.
