The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) said that almost 6 million voter identification cards remain unclaimed all over the country.
With this, COMELEC Chairman Andres Bautista encouraged the public to claim their voter’s ID that is now available at the local COMELEC offices nationwide.
However, Bautista said that voter’s ID is not a requirement in voting in the May 2016 elections. (Eagle News Service)
