COMELEC confident that there will be no shortage of teachers in the coming election

The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) is confident that there will be no shortage of teachers willing to serve as Board of Election Inspectors even if the proposal to make said duty voluntary for said teachers.

COMELEC added that it only needs 300, 000 teachers for the automated election and that there will be other sources of volunteers as many believe in the importance of elections.
