The Philippine National Budget – Learn the Basics

QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) —  With a vote of 233-9, the House of Representatives on third and final reading approved on Tuesday, September 26, the proposed P3.767-trillion national budget for 2018.

The House Bill 6215 or the 2018 General Appropriations Bill includes funding for the Duterte Administration’s “Build, Build, Build” program as well as the funds to be used for free higher education.

It also contained the P40 billion allocation for the government’s free tertiary education program.

Can you imagine how difficult it is to plan the national budget?  You have to plan for the needs of a whole country.

Students, young urban professionals, married couples, parents — they all somehow know the need to prepare a budget for one’s daily, weekly, monthly and even yearly needs.
