Palace: President Duterte to address public today, March 30

(Eagle News) — President Rodrigo Duterte will have a televised message to the public today, March 30.

The televised message was tentatively scheduled at 4 p.m., Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo said.

No other details were available.

President Duterte has imposed an enhanced community quarantine in Luzon to contain COVID-19.

The Philippines has so far recorded 1418 COVID-19 cases.

Panelo had said the increase in the recorded number of cases was due to the increase in the number of tests being conducted. With a report from Vic Somintac
