4.0-magnitude earthquake strikes off Eastern Samar

(Eagle News) — A 4.0-magnitude earthquake struck off Eastern Samar on Monday, Feb. 13. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit 64 kilometers northeast of Guiuan at 6:34 a.m. The depth of focus was 59 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
