(Eagle News)– A 4.9-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental early Sunday, May 7. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 10:51 a.m. It said its epicenter was 365 kilometers southeast of Balut Island. The depth of focus was 50 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were expected.
