(Eagle News)—A 3.8-magnitude earthquake struck Eastern Samar on Friday, May 10. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, an aftershock of the 6.5-magnitude earthquake that hit the province on April 23, struck 16 kilometers northwest of San Julian at 4:19 a.m. The depth of focus of the quake was 64 kilometers, with intensity II felt in Borongan. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
