(Eagle News)–A 3.4-magnitude earthquake struck Catanduanes on Saturday, Sept. 21. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 9 kilometers northeast of Panganiban at 8:24 a.m. Depth of focus was 11 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

(Eagle News)–A 5.0-magnitude earthquake struck off Catanduanes early Saturday, Sept. 21. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit off 51 kilometers northeast of Panganiban at 2:04 a.m. Depth of focus was 31 kilometers.
