3.4-magnitude quake hits Catanduanes

(Eagle News)–A 3.4-magnitude earthquake struck Catanduanes on Saturday, Sept. 21.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 9 kilometers northeast of Panganiban at 8:24 a.m.

Depth of focus was 11 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
