QC confirms 113 COVID-19 cases, 19 deaths
Nine recover (Eagle News)–The number of coronavirus disease 2019 cases in Quezon City has reached the 100 mark. According to the city government, of the 113 COVID-19 cases recorded, 19 died and 9 have recovered. Patients under probe are 64 while patients under monitoring have reached 307. Navotas records first COVID-19 case, also city’s first COVID-19 fatality
(Eagle News)–Navotas has confirmed its first coronavirus disease 2019 case, also its first death from the disease. Over 100, or 125, are patients under monitoring, while 21 are patients under investigation. According to the city government, four patients under probe also died, of which one turned out negative for the virus and three were awaiting results. The Philippines has so far breached the 1000 mark in COVID-19 cases.
3.9-magnitude quake hits Isabela
(Eagle News)–A 3.9-magnitude earthquake struck Isabela on Saturday, March 28. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 3:23 p.m., had its epicenter 27 kilometers northeast of Maconacon. It had a depth of focus of 31 kilometers.
