4.1-magnitude earthquake strikes off Surigao del Sur

(Eagle News) — A 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck off Surigao del Sur on Friday, Jan. 12. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 5:47 p.m. Its epicenter was 114 kilometers northeast of Lingig. The depth of focus was 14 kilometers.
