3.5-magnitude quake strikes off Negros Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 3.5-magnitude earthquake struck off Negros Occidental early Friday, Sept. 4. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 3:16 a.m., had its epicenter 22 kilometers northwest of Sipalay City. It had a depth of 21 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
