4.1-magnitude earthquake strikes off Northern Samar

(Eagle News) — A 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck off Northern Samar on Wednesday, Jan. 24. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 10:38 a.m. The epicenter was 49 kilometers northeast of Mapanas. The depth of focus was six kilometers.
