DFA reports 4 additional COVID-19 cases among Filipinos abroad

(Eagle News) — The Department of Foreign Affairs has reported four additional COVID-19 cases among overseas Filipinos. The DFA said with the additional cases, the total COVID-19 cases  rose to 11699. No additional death nor recovery was reported, which means the death toll and recovery total remain at 847 and 7578, respectively. DFA consular office in NCR-North closed for disinfection today

3.9-magnitude quake hits Davao Oriental early Thursday

(Eagle News) — A 3.9-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Oriental early Thursday, December 10. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake struck 96 kilometers southeast of Governor Generoso at 3:54 a.m. Depth of focus was 52 kilometers. The quake was of tectonic origin. No damage to property nor aftershocks were expected.
