4.1-magnitude quake strikes off Eastern Samar

(Eagle News) — A 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck off Eastern Samar on Monday, April 4. According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the quake struck at 4:41 p.m. The epicenter was 19 kilometers northeast of Hernani. The following intensities and instrumental intensities were reported: Instrumental Intensities: Intensity II – Catbalogan City, Samar Intensity I – Abuyog and Palo, Leyte No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.

DOH says 2,679 COVID-19 cases logged from March 28 to April 3
