Almost 95% of the residents of Tacloban CIty have been evacuated in preparation of the coming of super-typhoon “Ruby”.
More than 100, 000 families were affected by the mandatory evacuation implemented by the Albay City government.
The United States Joint Typhoon Warning Center as well as the PAGASA estimated that Metro Manila will also be affected by the super-typhoon “Ruby”, with strong rains expected on Sunday.
Dahil sa paghihigpit ng Philippine Coast Guard hinggil sa paglalayag ng mga sasakyang pandagat ay mahigit isang libong pasahero ang stranded sa Bicol.
Hindi pa nga nanalanta ang bagyong “Ruby” ay namahagi na ng relief goods sa lalawigan ng Aklan.
Isa ang lalawigan ng Camarinas Norte sa mga isinailalim sa Public Storm Signal Number One. Kabilang sa paghahanda ng lokal na pamahalaan ay ang sapilitang paglilikas sa mga residente sa babaying dagat.
Bagamat bahagyang humina ang bagyong “Ruby” at lumiit ang saklaw nito, nagbabala ang PAGASA sa mga panaganib na dala nito. Narito ang listahan ng mga probinsyang maaapektuhan ng bagyo.
