(Eagle News)–Alert level 3 remains hoisted over Taal as it continues to spew steam-laden plumes and its seismic activity. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said activity in the main crater in the past 24 hours has been characterized by weak emission of steam-laden plumes 50 to 500 meters tall. Cloudy skies, rains expected in parts of PHL

(Eagle News)–Cloudy skies with light rains are expected in parts of the country today. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said  Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains as the northeast monsoon affects the Philippines. The eastern sections of Luzon, Visayas and MIndanao will have moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters.
