Raffy Tulfo charged with bigamy

(Eagle News)–Broadcaster Raffy Tulfo has been charged with bigamy. The charges, filed by Julieta Nacpil Licup, were filed before the Quezon City Prosecutors Office. Licup alleged Tulfo married Jocelyn Pua in 1995, even if Licup’s and the broadcaster’s marriage was still existing. Licup said she and Tulfo married in 1982. Tulfo has yet to issue a statement.

LRT-2 operations from Santolan to Recto resume

(Eagle News)–Light Rail Transit 2 operations from Santolan to Recto have resumed. The Light Rail Transit Authority said this was as of 11:28 a.m. This was over an hour after LRT-2 operations were suspended after a “technical glitch.” The LRTA did not elaborate, but said an “intervention” was ongoing at that time.

Palace declares June 24, 2019 a special non-working holiday in Manila

(Eagle News)–The Palace has declared June 24 a special non-working holiday in Manila. The declaration was contained in Proclamation 731 signed by Executive Secretary Salvador  Medialdea. According to the proclamation, this was to give the   people of the city  the “full opportunity to celebrate and participate” in activities relating to the city’s 448th founding anniversary. Manila was founded in 1571.      

LTFRB to Grab PHL: Explain planned deactivation of around 8,000 TNVS
