Second blast hits Kabul following deadly suicide attack

(Reuters) A large explosion was heard in central Kabul several hours after a suicide attack on a building of the national security agency killed dozens of people and wounded hundreds more in the Afghan capital earlier on Tuesday. Magnitude 5.5 quake hits southern Japan

(Reuters) An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 5.5 hit Kumamoto prefecture in southern Japan on Tuesday, broadcaster NHK said. A tsunami warning had not been issued, NHK added. Two deadly quakes hit the same region last week, killing 44 and injuring more than 1,000.
