(Eagle News)–Typhoon “Ompong” has exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility. In its official Twitter page, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said “Ompong” left PAR as of 9 p.m. It said the typhoon was last spotted 355 kilometers west of Calayan, Cagayan and is now headed toward southern China.

In Quezon City – Mabuhay, Meralco said outage time was at 4:12 a.m. The company said the outage, which was caused by emergency line trouble, would last for two hours.
