(Eagle News)—A thunderstorm warning has been raised in some areas as “Ompong” headed toward Apayao and Ilocos Norte on Saturday morning.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said moderate to heavy rains with lightning and strong winds due to thunderstorms are expected in Camarines Norte, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque and a portion of Camarines Sur, Romblon and nearby areas.
PAGASA said this may persist within two to three hours.
“All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards which include flashfloods and landslides,” PAGASA said.
