3.1-magnitude quake hits Surigao del Sur

(Eagle News)-A 3.1-magnitude earthquake struck Surigao del Sur on Saturday, Sept. 14. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 11 kilometers southeast of Tagbina at 7:23 a.m. Depth of focus was 4 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
