(Eagle News)–Operations of the Metro Rail Transit-3 have resumed after they were temporarily suspended following the 5.5-magnitude earthquake off Quezon on Friday, Sept. 13.
In a Tweet, the MRT-3 said operations resumed at 5:29 p.m.
Operations were suspended a little before 5 p.m. following the earthquake.
“On hold movement ng trains due to earthquake. Still checking facilities,” MRT-3 Director Mike Capati had said.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit 40 kilometers northeast of Burdeos at 4:28 p.m.
The following intensities were reported:
Intensity IV – Jose Panganiban, Camarines Norte; Quezon City
Intensity III – Guinyangan, Quezon
