Yellow alert in effect over Luzon grid today, June 11

(Eagle News)–A yellow alert is in effect over the Luzon grid on Tuesday, June 11.

The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines said the alert was in effect from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Available capacity was at 11,839 megawatts, while peak demand was at
10,921MW.

“Details on the cause to be announced by the Department of Energy (DOE) later in the day,” the NGCP said.
