Work in SC, other courts in M. Manila suspended effective noon today

(Eagle News)–Work in courts in Metro Manila is suspended effective noon today.

In a memorandum, Chief Justice Diosdado Peralta said the suspension applies to the Supreme Court, the Court of Appeals, Court of Tax Appeals, Sandiganbayan, all National Capital Region courts, and offices under the Presidential Electoral Tribunal, Senate Electoral Tribunal, House of Representatives Electoral Tribunal, Philippine Judicial Academy and the Judicial and Bar Council.

Peralta said executive judges outside Metro Manila shall exercise discretion in implementing a work suspension.

He said this was due to inclement weather brought by Tisoy. With a report from Moira Encina
