(Eagle News)–Work in government offices on Thursday, Oct. 31, is suspended by noon.
Memorandum circular number 69 signed by Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea said the suspension was to allow government employees to travel to and from the different regions in the country for the holidays.
“However, those agencies whose functions involve the delivery of basic and health services, preparedness/response to disasters and calamities, and/or the performance of other vital services shall continue with their operations and render the necessary services,” the memo said.
It said the suspension of classes in private schools and companies is left to the discretion of their management.
