Winning Senate bets arrive at PICC for their proclamation

(Eagle News)–The winning Senate bets in the recently-concluded May 13 Senate polls have started arriving at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay for their proclamation on Wednesday, May 22.

Senator-elect Cynthia Villar, who topped the race, arrived with her husband, Manny, and son Mark, the incumbent Public Works secretary.

Senator-elect Grace Poe was with her mother, Susan Roces.

Poe ranked second in the Senate race, with 22,029,788 votes.

Bong Go, a longtime aide of President Rodrigo Duterte, wore a red T-shirt with the word Du30 in his first proclamation as senator.

He ranked third in the recent polls, with 20,657,702 votes.

Lito Lapid wore a white barong and waved to the public upon his arrival at the PICC.

He ranked seventh, with 16,965,464 votes.

Imee Marcos was all smiles at the PICC.

She was in eighth place, with 15,882,628 votes.
