(Eagle News)–The Department of Education has suspended classes on Thursday, Oct. 31, in all public schools in the country.
DepEd Memorandum No. 154 signed by Education Secretary Leonor Briones said the suspension is from the kindergarten level to Grade 12.
The DepEd said the suspension of classes and work in private schools is left to the discretion of their respective administrations.
Earlier, the Palace said work in all government offices was suspended by noon today.
This was in anticipation of the increased volume of Filipinos on the roads who wish to take advantage of the holidays to go to the provinces.
