(Eagle News) – Another presidential candidate visited the Iglesia Ni Cristo Central Office, making a courtesy call to INC Executive Minister Brother Eduardo V. Manalo.

Vice-President Jejomar Binay of the United Nationalist Alliance met with Bro. Eduardo V. Manalo on Thursday morning (April 21) as he sought the INC’s endorsement for the May 2016 elections.

The INC votes as one during elections in adherence to the biblical doctrine on unity which is followed by Church members.

Binay met with Bro. Eduardo at the Central Office’s “Bulwagan” where Liberal Party standard bearer, the administration’s bet Manuel “Mar” Roxas II was also earlier welcomed.

Interviewed after the meeting, Binay said the INC’s support was important for him.

“Humingi po ako ng tulong. Dumudulog po ako rito na sana ay masuportahan ako ng kapatiran. (I came here to seek the support of the brethren),” the opposition leader said.

Roxas, accompanied by his wife broadcaster Korina Sanchez, made a courtesy call to the INC Executive Minister on Tuesday, April 19.
