Visiting privileges of inmates in Bilibid maximum compound restored

(Eagle News)–Jail authorities have announced the restoration of visiting privileges for inmates in the New Bilibid Prison’s maximum security compound.

In an announcement, the Bureau of Corrections said these will resume on Wednesday, Oct. 30.

No visitation is, however, allowed  during Mondays and Tuesdays.

The BuCor said the schedule of visitation shall be on a per quadrant basis:

NBP NORTH
(QUADRANT 1) WEDNESDAY AND SATURDAY
BLDG. 1 – 7:30AM-9:00AM
BLDG. 6 – 8:30AM-10:00AM
BLDG.12-9:30AM- 11:00AM
HOSPITAL WARD 1,3,5 AND ANNEX – 9;00AM-10:00AM

NBP WEST
(QUADRANT 2) THURSDAY AND SUNDAY
BLDG. 4 – 7:30AM-9:00AM
BLDG. 7 – 8:30AM-10:00AM
BLDG. 11B – 9:00AM-11:00AM
HOSPITAL WARD 2, 4 AND TBTU – 9:00AM-10:00AM

NBP SOUTH
(QUADRANT 3) WEDNESDAY AND SATURDAY
BLDG. 3 – 10:30AM – 12:00NN

“Visitor will be subjected to the usual Body Frisking, Strip Searching if necessary and inspection of all bags and belongings prior to entry to any Corrections Facilities,” BuCor said.

Earlier, the visiting privileges of NBP maximum security compound inmates were cancelled over the discovery of contraband in the compound.
