(Eagle News)–Pasig Mayor Vico Sotto has fired a city hall official for “abusive behavior” and “some questionable practices.”
Sotto made the announcement in a recent Facebook post.
He, however, did not identify the city official.
Pictures in his post showed that the office of the fired executive was empty.
“The pictures show how some people treat the government like their private property,” Sotto said.
While Sotto acknowledged that “some of the most successful transitions in (local government units) have come with minimal changes in personnel,” he said “we will deal with the abusive as they deserve, and with the full force of the law.”
