UN forbids lithium ion batteries in passenger aircraft

NEW YORK City, United States of America – The United Nations Civil Aviation Agency have come into an agreement regarding the prohibition of shipment of lithium-ion batteries in passenger aircraft since said batteries can cause fire. Said prohibition will last until the organization is able to develop new safety standards regarding said batteries. Said prohibition will start on April 1.
