Two suspects in Cotabato mall blast charged

(Eagle News)—Charges have been filed against two suspects behind the bombing of a Cotabato mall on Dec. 31.

Charged with two counts of murder and 34 counts of frustrated murder were Salipudin Lauban Pasandalan and a certain Saed Nur Kasim.

The charges were filed before the Cotabato Prosecutors Office.

Police have said they were looking at at least eight suspects in the bombing of the South Seas mall that left two people dead and 34 injured.

Pasandalan has surrendered to authorities, but Kasim remains at large.
